Athletes for care
Athletes for Care is a non-profit organization empowering legendary athletes from every sport to use their influence to improve global standards of health, safety and quality of life for athletes of all ages. A facet of that work is advocating for the use of cannabis as an alternative to opioids in the treatment of long term pain. In 2020 Chronic began an ongoing partnership with the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society anchored in presenting the first ever medical cannabis exhibit at the Philadelphia Flower Show. The goal was and is to spark a new mainstream narrative around cannabis use. We share PHS’s perspective on the cannabis plant as a viable health and wellness treatment, and we are excited to continue our partnership with them.
